Special transportation of a church organ to Brazil
A special project in May
In May, we had the exciting task of transporting a complete church organ from a renowned organ manufacturer near Osnabrück to a small mountain village near São Paulo, Brazil.
The transportation
The organ was packed in numerous crates, with each crate weighing between 400 and 500 kilograms. The contents consisted of delicate organ pipes that had to be handled with particular care.
Our commitment
The professional loading and securing of the cargo was particularly important to us. Each of the more than 5,000 individual parts, from the smallest pipe, which is barely bigger than a finger, to the largest pipe with a length of 5.8 meters, was carefully packed and secured. In total, the organ weighed around 16 tons.
The process
The entire organ was carefully loaded over four days. Here we show you the pictures of day 1 and 2. More pictures will follow at the end of the week!
