The beginning of a success story
1900
In 1900, Heinrich Koch from Glane laid the foundation stone for today's KOCH International. He started his haulage business in Osnabrück with a horse and cart. His reliability and commitment formed the basis for the company's long-term success. These values were carried on by his son Franz and his wife Paula, who later took over the business.
Transportation back then: By horse and cart

A look back to 1904: the company was still young, but already firmly rooted in the region. Transportation was carried out using horse-drawn vehicles - a symbol of the beginnings of the logistics industry and the changing times.
Generational change in challenging times
1939
After completing his commercial training, Heinrich Koch joined the family business in 1939. At a time of great challenges, he took on responsibility and helped to further develop the haulage business and prepare it for the future.
Two brothers, one common goal
1941
When Walter Koch joined the company in 1941, the next generation of the family took on responsibility. Together with his brother Heinrich, he led the business through challenging times and laid the foundations for further growth.
The company is growing
1949
The company headquarters in Mühlenstraße was further expanded and now included the administration, the furniture department and a workshop. At the same time, the forwarding company moved to Elbestrasse - an important step in order to meet the increasing demands of the industry.
Growth through strategic expansion
From 1970
In the early 1970s, Koch International laid the foundation for further growth and built a modern freight forwarding facility on the BAB 1 highway, Osnabrueck-Hafen exit, supplemented by a truck stop. Through targeted investments, the purchase and rental of additional logistics halls, the company was constantly expanded and optimally positioned for the increasing demands of the logistics industry.
A new chapter: The company headquarters is being built
1974
Koch International set a significant milestone with the move to the new company headquarters on Prof.-Porsche-Straße in Osnabrueck. The modern building provided space for further growth and reflected the transformation of the company - from its beginnings with horse-drawn carts to a future-oriented logistics service provider.

Expansion of the infrastructure
2007
Koch Umzugslogistik is investing in the future with the opening of a modern container hall complete with crane system. The new hall enables even more efficient storage and handling of removal goods and strengthens the company's logistics capacities.
An independent company is created
2010
On January 1, 2010, the former removals department becomes an independent company: Heinrich Koch | Internationale Logistics and Archive logistics GmbH. Koch is thus focusing specifically on customized solutions in the moving and archive logistics sector.
Member of AML
From 2013
Koch Moving Logistics becomes a member of the AML - Archive and material logistics, a network for professional archive solutions and material logistics. AML offers customized concepts for file storage, archiving and library logistics. By joining, Koch Umzugslogistik is strengthening its expertise in the secure storage and management of sensitive documents and materials.
A new logo, a fresh look

With a modern new logo, Koch Moving Logistics presents itself in a contemporary and future-oriented way. The new visual identity underlines the further development of the company and its position as a modern service provider in the field of removals and archive logistics.

Koch Moving Logistics becomes part of the International Association of Movers (IAM), a global network with over 2,000 members in more than 170 countries.
